Memorial weekend for most consists of cookouts and gearing up to watch or attend the Indy 500 here in Indiana, but for Haylee and Devin, this past weekend was something much more special, one of the biggest days of their lives. Surrounded by family and friends, the two said "I Do" at Celebrations Banquet and Conference Center in Kokomo.
Their day turned out to be absolutely beautiful with the sun coming out not long before the ceremony. Haylee and Devin decided not to see each other before the ceremony, so Haylee did a first look with her dad. Haylee is the youngest of her siblings, so I can imagine the emotions this was for her mom and dad, seeing her off to marry her groom! Haylee's dad's reaction was priceless. Smiles all around!
The ceremony took place outside under the gazebo and the greenery surrounding the area matched their style perfectly. Their centerpieces were unique and too added the perfect touch. Sitting alongside their flowers on the table were industrial Edison lightbulbs with the words like love, laughter, and adventure. Haylee's maid of honor has quite the crafty hand as she hand wrote all of the signs and the words on the light bulbs. I wish I had the touch of calligraphy!
After the two officially tied the night, the reception took place and the dance floor was a big hit! The toasts were spoke, the dances were danced and the Robertson kiddos danced the night away!
Haylee and Devin, thank you for letting us be a part of your day. I have known Haylee since elementary school. We grew up down the road from each other and spent many of our school days together, in sports and carpooling back and forth to events. You were a stunning bride and Devin was a handsome groom.
Eight years together, and I wish you 100 more!

I have been having trouble posting this blog due to our super slow country internet, but I am finally able to share these pictures from the cutest little backyard wedding!
Last October I had the pleasure to photograph Kayla and Jacob's wedding in Sheridan, IN. I've known Kayla for many years and we were both a big part of our school's FFA chapters, local 4-H clubs and even majored in the same subject in college. It's crazy how similar actually, I mean we both even share the same first and middle name! ;)
I had such a fun day photographing these two and their families. Kayla and Jacob's families are both super sweet and each I know are so thankful to have both Kayla and Jacob enter their families. A sweet memory from their wedding, Kelsey, Kayla's sister sang during the ceremony, but she too gave the BEST maid of honor speech, she sang her speech to the song, "My Sister, My Friend," by Reba. It was so good!!! The ceremony took place at their church outside Sheridan and the ceremony was at the beautiful Palomino Ballroom in Zionsville. It was a dreary day outside the day of their wedding, but that didn't stop the smiles on their faces or stop them from soaking up every minute of the best day of their lives! I wish Kayla and Jacob all the happiness in their marriage!
The Painted Hills Clubhouse in Martinsville, Indiana was so beautiful. Bestowed upon a gorgeous lake with trees so eagerly ready to change color, Caleb and Tabitha committed their love to one another in front of family and friends in this rustic country wedding. The touch of mums made me sooo much more eager for fall to arrive, and her flowers were so gorgeous! I am not going to lie I was a little nervous when I woke up Saturday morning and it was pouring down rain and thunder and lightening, but the day turned out absolutely perfect! You know what they say about rain on your wedding day, it's destined to be good luck!
We thank Caleb and Tabitha for having us be a part of their special day! Here's to many years of happiness!
