Last Thursday, I had the cutest session ever at the Cake Bake Shop in Broad Ripple. It is the cutest, quaint little shop in town adorned with all things pink! From the pink decorative pigs you will find nestled throughout the shop, the beautiful decor of jewels and flowers to even the salt in the salt shakers! I was able to meet with Amelia and her mommy and daddy for Amelia's 2nd birthday pictures, her party is themed Tea for Two so how perfect! We arrived before they opened to snag some pictures outside before heading inside. Everything looks delicious! I tried the brownie which was ever sprinkled with glitter! Who doesn't love glitter?!
These pictures almost feel magical! Amelia looked beautiful in her light pink dress; which I hear her momma worked hard to find the perfect tea time dress. :)
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! Be sure to stop by if your in and around the area. You won't be disappointed!

Memorial weekend for most consists of cookouts and gearing up to watch or attend the Indy 500 here in Indiana, but for Haylee and Devin, this past weekend was something much more special, one of the biggest days of their lives. Surrounded by family and friends, the two said "I Do" at Celebrations Banquet and Conference Center in Kokomo.
Their day turned out to be absolutely beautiful with the sun coming out not long before the ceremony. Haylee and Devin decided not to see each other before the ceremony, so Haylee did a first look with her dad. Haylee is the youngest of her siblings, so I can imagine the emotions this was for her mom and dad, seeing her off to marry her groom! Haylee's dad's reaction was priceless. Smiles all around!
The ceremony took place outside under the gazebo and the greenery surrounding the area matched their style perfectly. Their centerpieces were unique and too added the perfect touch. Sitting alongside their flowers on the table were industrial Edison lightbulbs with the words like love, laughter, and adventure. Haylee's maid of honor has quite the crafty hand as she hand wrote all of the signs and the words on the light bulbs. I wish I had the touch of calligraphy!
After the two officially tied the night, the reception took place and the dance floor was a big hit! The toasts were spoke, the dances were danced and the Robertson kiddos danced the night away!
Haylee and Devin, thank you for letting us be a part of your day. I have known Haylee since elementary school. We grew up down the road from each other and spent many of our school days together, in sports and carpooling back and forth to events. You were a stunning bride and Devin was a handsome groom.
Eight years together, and I wish you 100 more!

I have been having trouble posting this blog due to our super slow country internet, but I am finally able to share these pictures from the cutest little backyard wedding!
Let's just say I am so glad that I get to make my own decisions and decide how many pictures I get to share in these blog posts, because I would be in trouble if I could only share a "few". We got soooooo many beautiful images of Haylee and Devin and I love that we went to downtown Noblesville for some urban pictures then concluded our session at a local park for some more "naturey" pictures.
I have know Haylee and Devin for many years now, Haylee since elementary school! We rode the same bus, played sports together and were great friends throughout school. Although we have grown our own ways and began our own life adventures, I am so so so happy to be a part of this special time in their lives. Below you will find one of the very first pictures that Haylee and Devin took together. I love seeing the "then and now pictures!" Also take a close look at her gorgeous engagement ring. They had a 'J' placed on the side of the ring for the new last name that she will be sporting next year!
I am so excited to be a part of their big day next year!
This is one special wedding I get to share! My brother is officially a married man and he has the most beautiful bride who I can now "officially" call my sister in law. Evan and Erica had a beautiful rustic wedding held on Erica's dad's property. They were surrounded by family and friends and the day could not have been more perfect. They put a lot of sweet little details into their day. I could easily over share hundreds of more images, but I will leave it to this handful.
I am so happy for these two and wish them many many years of happiness! I myself could not have picked a better wife for my brother!
Ashley and Shaun are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met! We had a beautiful session at Holcomb Gardens located on the campus of Butler University. They brought along their sweet boxer pup for pictures too! Mind you this evening was near 90 degrees and humid, but with these two lovebirds you would never even tell we were slightly sweating the heat. I wish you both the absolute happiest of years together!
I am looking forward to photographing your wedding this fall!
A few weeks ago I got to meet with two of the nicest guys for their engagement session. Mark and Ken, along with Mark's mom and best friend met me at IU Bloomington for their e-session. It was a gorgeous evening with an even more gorgeous couple. You can easily see the love radiate around these two. IU is where Mark and Ken met and it holds a very special place in their heart. We got so many great images and I could easily share their whole gallery, but I figured I would leave it to a few of my favorite. I am so excited to photograph their wedding this fall.
This is my sweet cousin Katelyn. I can't believe at the end of the month she will graduating high school. I remember when she was a wee little baby with the darkest black hair! We enjoyed a little fall session at the TPA park in Frankfort, IN. The leaves were absolutely gorgeous when we went!
It's crazy how fast the years fly by! I am excited to see what Katelyn has in store for her future! Such a beautiful lady inside and out! Always remember that, Katelyn!
Enjoy a few images from out session!
Last week I had the privilege to meet with a great group of young leaders, the District V FFA officer team. We met out at Camp Cullom to get some pictures of the group before their term comes to an end this June and a few head off to college. It was raining when we arrived, but after a short time the rain stopped long enough for us to get our session in! These guys were so brave and got into the creek to get some fun shots! It was extremely cold, but they were troopers! I love working with youth and these individuals are our future leaders. These six are so full of personality and had a great time together.
"Sometimes in life you come across people you would have never met under normal circumstances, in normal places, doing normal things. Then there's times in life when you take chances, try new things and meet new people, and sometimes little did you know these people end up making the biggest impact on your life."
These kids are going to do big things! I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors!

This past winter I got to spend an evening with Chelsea and Kaleb at Dull's Tree Farm for their maternity session. It sure doesn't look like winter from these pictures, but these were taken at the end of December and it was chilly! I've known Chelsea since we were in preschool and I was so excited when she found out she was expecting! Her and Kaleb were blessed with a handsome little boy, Kendrick. Kendrick's daddy is a police officer so he has some big shoes to fill one day! Congrats to Chelsea and Kaleb on their newest little bundle of joy!
